Les Philfolles

Fanfare Les Philfolles is a band of 14 women and one man from Maastricht. Founded in 1989 and was inspired by a female brass band from Paris and Chaupiques Brass Band from Maastricht.

They have created their own unique sound, a mix of pop, Dutch pop, soft rock, disco and funk.

INOX

INOX is a cover band. The mutual click and musical preference for "music that has stood the test of time" not only makes for the interesting mix of songs, but also for the name "INOX" which means stainless steel. All songs are familiars from past decades from 1980s to the present, with their own twist.

REMEDY

With a rocking performance in January, REMEDY returned on June 15! They cover diverse rock & blues songs by well-known music heroes!

Vee Hermans

Vee Hermans is a local talent, known for her solo performances.

She puts you in the right mood with her singing and guitar playing!

During the picnic on June 9 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., you could enjoy the great music she makes including songs by Coldplay & Chris Isaak.

Friends of the Meerssen Library

The purpose of the "Friends of the Library Foundation" is to promote cultural and literary activities in the municipality of Meerssen.

The intention is to annually organize a literary/musical activity, a cultural activity a meeting in the form of debate or forum. The wonderful poetry route in Meerssen is also an initiative of the Friends of the Library.

NaarBuitengoed

NaarBuitengoed is the cooperative cooperation platform of, for and by entrepreneurs and social initiatives in Buitengoed Geul en Maas which, through cooperation, synergy and creativity, make culture, nature, social cohesion and economy flourish. In the interest of the whole and in the interest of themselves.

The Estate picnic that took place on June 9 was part of this.

Lu's Legacy

Lu's Legacy originated as an Americana band started as a v.n. tribute band to the legendary Lucinda Williams.

A solid combination of Country, Rock and the Blues wine the main ingredients and form the basis with which Lu's Legacy plays.

This great band provided a great evening on May 18.

TIME

It's TIME..., time to enjoy Rock.
The covers that TIME has in its repertoire attest to the fact that this band does not shy away from Pink Floyd, U2, CCR, Rolling Stones, Duffy, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin etc....

Albert Heijn Dijkstra

At the Albert Heijn supermarket you could save for Land van Geul en Maas pictures. To make sure everyone got their picture book complete, exchange days were organized regularly!

Rocket88

Rocket88 is a band from Limburg.
The repertoire consists of Rock & Roll music, mainly from the fifties and sixties.

The name is derived from the 1951 song Rocket "88".
According to connoisseurs, the first rock & roll song.

During their performance on King's Day, the band took you back in time to Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry and many more greats from Rock & Roll history.

COVERZZ

COVERZZ has a repertoire from the seventies and eighties
Everything from the seventies and eighties will be featured, including VAN Fleetwoodmac, Dire Straits, Gary More and Tina Turner.

COVERZZ provided a great performance on King's Day!

Bibliotheek Meerssen

The mission of the Meerssen Library is a high-quality, accessible gateway to information, education and culture.

The Meerssen Library is there for everyone, but especially for those who could use extra support to be able to participate fully.

With 10 enthusiastic staff, supported by more than 70 volunteers, they are committed to making the library an inspiring place where everyone is welcome to personal development.

Thanks for the fine collaborations with the demolition workshop for kids, the lecture on the vegetable garden and with the Sinterklaas craft afternoon!

The Anouk Experience

The Anouk Experience: 5 experienced musicians with the same mission: making music that makes your heart beat faster...They had all played songs by Anouk before, but never together in the same band. Via-via they tracked each other down and already at the first rehearsal in early 2019 they sounded so good that the pub owner asked if the partition door between rehearsal room and pub could be opened: the guests wanted to listen in! Not surprisingly, that was also the first pub the band booked. And now the rest of the Benelux (and beyond) can too.

Fullignition

FULLIGNITION, made the hits of well-known rock/ metal bands come alive again during their performance at Conne5t.

De Geulmennekes

In 2024, Foundation Connect5 & the Geulmennekes hosted the carnival party at Connect5!

Youth Carnival Association De Geulmennekes provided a great Carnival celebration!

The proceeds will go to the Foundation which is dedicated to develop, stimulate and facilitate programs of interest for the youth!

René & Mascha

René and Mascha are an acoustic duo.

They make mostly covers of pop/rock music, with René on guitar and Mascha as vocalist.

De Crumbling Cookies

The Crumblin Cookies, their repertoire includes pop and rock songs - sensitive ballad and swinging pop classic.

With a wide range of songs, this band knows how to appeal to both YOUNG and OLD.

Warung Ledeng

The well-known Warung Ledeng came to Connect5 on Oct. 14 to offer their famous deluxe rice table buffet!
During the extended Indonesian rice table.

Anya Niewierra

Author Anya Niewierra has won the NS Audience Award
with her 2021 book "The camino."

She is a guest in Meerssen and will be interviewed by thriller reviewer Jos van Cann. Niewierra (Kerkrade, 1964) is a writer of mainly literary thrillers and
director of VVV Zuid-Limburg. She received the Hebban Thriller Prize with both the
thriller "The Flower Girl" from 2020 as "The Camino.
